If there is a possibility that we don’t have a count of "Maximum Leave Allocation Allowed" one person can have in a year, please keep the count at zero or set it to the maximum possible number:
For example, if we have 24 leave days in a year, and these leave days can carry forward, then there is a possibility that the 24 could accumulate. So, we need to be careful and set the maximum to 48 or more if again carry forward to next years. If we set it to just 24 and 24 leaves were also carry forwarded from previous year, the system won’t allocate any additional leave days, like in the case of earned leave.
If we knew that a maximum of 24 can carry forward, then we could confidently set it to 48. However, if there is no limit on carry forward days, it’s best to keep it at zero.
